- Legal Basis: As determined by Customer

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- You have requested a subscription to a newsletter or regular updates from Made with Intent via the madewithintent.ai or merch.madewithintent.ai websites
- You have entered into a contractual agreement with us to use our services
- You have entered into an agreement with one of our customers for which we are a data processor
- You have shared your personal data with us directly or via a careers platform in relation to a job posting
- You have purchased goods or services from Made with Intent
We may also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
- You have shared your identity and contact data with a third party and consented for that information to be shared with us e.g. you subscribed to a Webinar, event or gave us your contact information at a conference
Sharing Personal Data
We take your privacy very seriously and will never disclose or sell your data without your consent unless required to do so by law.
We may share your data, including contact information, with trusted partners or sponsors for services or promotions, under agreements that protect your data and comply with applicable laws. Where required, you’ll have the option to opt out.
In order to provide services to you, information you provide to us may be transferred to a number of trusted third party data subprocessors including Google Cloud (Google Workspace), web hosting providers, trusted payment processing providers, delivery providers and marketing and CRM providers.
Data processed via data subprocessors may be processed outside of the EEA.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting privacy@madewithintent.ai
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a legitimate interest.
How We Store and Retain Your Personal Information
Your information is securely stored, and we retain it only as long as necessary:
- Identity, Contact, and Transactional Data – Retained for up to 7 years to comply with UK tax law.
- Website Data – Retained for no longer than 2 years.
- Recruitment Data – Retained for a maximum of 2 years if unsuccessful or as part of ongoing employment records if hired.
- Marketing Data - 2 years from your last activity or as soon as you request that we stop contacting you for this purpose
Data is securely destroyed when no longer required.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
